Number portability allows you to keep your existing landline or mobile phone number on your Ringover account. In this guide, you’ll learn how to submit a portability request from your dashboard and contact support if you need assistance.
Porting your existing phone number to Ringover
1. Start the porting process
You can easily start the porting process directly from your account.
- Go to the numbers page.
- Click on the "add a number" button and choose "port number", OR click the "portability" button next to it.
- Select the country for the number you are porting.

2. Request assistance from support
Before creating your account, or if your country is not listed in the dashboard, our team is available to help.
- Go to the Ringover support page: https://support.ringover.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
- Select "Contact support".
- Choose "Number Portability" as your reason.
- Select "New number activation".
⚠️ Regarding the use of your numbers for outbound calls:
- A French number can call France and, in some cases, international numbers.
- A Belgian number can only call Belgium.
- A Spanish number can only call Spain.
