Blocking numbers – Ringover Help Center

If a contact or a number you do not know or from which you no longer wish to receive calls is bothering you 👤, it is possible to block it.

From the web app, the desktop app, or the extension, the number will only be added to your personal blocked numbers list.
To block it for your entire team, the action must be performed from the Ringover Dashboard.

Prerequisites:

You must have a Ringover BUSINESS or ADVANCED account to benefit from this option.

Block a number from the Dashboard

💻 Go to your Dashboard > Settings > Blocked Numbers

Select whether you want to block a number for incoming (IN) or outgoing (OUT) calls

Enter the number you wish to block ❌

Click “Add”

Block a number from the Webapp

You also have the option to block a number individually. To do this:

Go to the settings of your Ringover account ⚙️
Click on the "Security and Connetions" tab,
Then select the "Security and Devices" section.

Add the numbers you wish to block in the dedicated fields (outgoing number and/or incoming number):

Then click on the "Block" icon to block the numbers.

ℹ️ Please note: just above, you can also block anonymous calls.

The number is now added to your blocked numbers list as well as that of your entire team! 👌

What is a call blacklist?

It is a list containing all the contacts from whom you do not wish to receive calls. You can add or remove contacts at any time using Ringover’s intuitive interface.

How to avoid annoying calls?

With Ringover's "Blocked Numbers / Blacklist" option, you can enter all the phone numbers from which you wish to avoid receiving calls. You can block and unblock as many contacts as you wish.
