Ringover's Blocked Numbers feature allows you to block unwanted calls and messages from specific numbers. In this guide, you’ll learn how to block numbers both for yourself and for your entire team, as well as how to manage anonymous calls.

Blocking Numbers

1. Block a number for your entire team (Dashboard)

To block a number for your entire team, the action must be performed from the Ringover Dashboard.

1. Go to your Blocked numbers page.
2. Select whether you want to block a number for incoming (IN) or outgoing (OUT) calls and SMS.
3. Enter the numbers you want to block (separated by commas).
4. Choose whether to block incoming or outgoing calls.
5. Enter the number you wish to block and click "Add".

2. Block a number individually (Webapp)

If you only want to block a number for yourself, you can do it directly from the web app, the desktop app, or the extension. This adds the number to your personal blocked numbers list only.

1. Go to the settings of your Ringover account.
2. Click on the "Security and Connections" tab.
3. Select the "Security and Devices" section.
4. Add the numbers you wish to block in the dedicated fields (outgoing number and/or incoming number) for calls and SMS.
5. Click on the "Block" icon to block the numbers.

💡 Tip: Just above the blocking fields in the "Security and Devices" section, you can also choose to block anonymous calls to avoid unidentified callers.

3. Understand and manage your blocked number's list

A blocked number's list is a flexible list containing all the contacts from whom you do not wish to receive communications.

• Flexible management: You can add or remove contacts from your list at any time using Ringover's intuitive interface.
• Avoid annoying calls: With the "Blocked Numbers" option, you can enter all the phone numbers you wish to avoid and block/unblock as many contacts as you want.
