Hiding your number on Ringover allows you to protect your privacy, avoid unsolicited calls, and maintain the confidentiality of your personal information during your communications. Hiding your number on Ringover
1. Hide your number from the Webapp
Mask your outgoing phone number before placing a call directly from your browser or desktop application.
- Go to your Ringover Webapp.
- Click on your phone number located directly under the Dialer.
- Select "Hide caller ID".
Your interface will now display "unknown number" and your recipient will receive a hidden call.
2. Unhide your number after your call
Once you have finished your confidential calls, remember to restore your standard number so future recipients can identify you.
- Go back to your outgoing call number menu.
- Choose your preferred outgoing call number from the list.
- Verify that your caller ID is no longer set to hidden.
