Missed call processing allows you to easily track and resolve unanswered customer calls to ensure no prospect is left behind. In this guide, you’ll learn how to mark missed calls as processed and filter your history to streamline your daily workflow. 👉 All plans
Process and filter your missed Calls
1. Mark missed calls as processed
Manage your unanswered calls directly from your activity history. Missed calls are represented by a small bell icon to the left of your logs.
- Go to your Call logs page.
- Click on the bell icon next to the missed call you want to resolve.
- Select the channel used to process the call (call, text message, or email), or choose to ignore it.
- Check the setting to apply this to all missed calls from the same number if you want to avoid processing them individually in the future.
Once marked as processed, the bell icon will turn green and the red color highlight on the call log line will disappear.
2. Filter your missed calls
Quickly isolate processed or unprocessed calls to focus on the tasks that require your immediate attention.
- Go to your Call logs page.
- Click on "Modify filters".
- Choose your routing category (all calls, only IVRs, direct lines, or customize it).
- Select "Missed calls".
- Choose whether to view processed or unprocessed missed calls under "View missed calls".
- Select to show all response types or filter by a specific response type (if you selected "processed calls").
- Click on "Search" to view your data.
3. Manage missed calls and tasks in the Webapp
You can also process missed calls and convert them into organized tasks directly within the Webapp.
- Open your Webapp.
- Filter your list to show missed calls and unprocessed calls.
Click on the red Ringo bell icon and choose your follow-up action (call, SMS, email, or ignore).
Create a task from a missed call
If a call requires deeper follow-up, you can quickly schedule a task (How to manage your tasks)
- Click on the option to create a task.
- Choose the task category (calls, messages, or meet).
- Verify the phone number.
- Set the date and hour.
- Add a short description of the task.
- Choose to assign the task to a specific team member if needed.
- Mark the task as important if it requires immediate action.
- Click on "Submit".
