Time slots allow you to determine the periods when incoming calls will be active, meaning the availability hours of your phone. Outside these hours, you can redirect calls to voicemail, to an external number, or set up automatic messages.
Prerequisites
- Your administrator must enable permissions for you to use this functionality
Step 1: Enable the functionality from the Dashboard (Administrator)
- 💡 You must be an administrator to enable the permissions and use this functionality
- Go to your Dashboard> Settings> Users
- Click "Edit" next to the user for whom you want to enable the functionality
- Select the "Permissions" section
- 🔍 Search for "Business hours"
- Enable it by clicking the button that appears on the right
Step 2: Customize your time slots
- 💻 Go to the WebApp or Ringover Desktop App
- Click on "Settings" ⚙️
- Select the "Working Hours" section
- Enable the functionality by clicking the button that appears on the right
- The default schedule will automatically appear
- You can modify your work hours 📅 by adjusting the edges of the time slots
💡 To remove a time slot, double-click on the existing time. To add a new time slot, simply double-click in an empty field.
- Click "Save" when you're done ✅
This way, outside the hours you’ve defined, all your calls will be automatically sent to voicemail 👌
