Amazon S3 (AWS S3) is an object storage service that allows you to store, organize, and retrieve data via a web interface or APIs, with high availability and great scalability.
Now, let’s move on to the tool integration 📳
Prerequisites:
- You must have a Ringover Business or Advanced account to use this integration 💳
- The integration must be done by an administrator or technical account in Ringover 👨💼
- The integration must be done with an Amazon S3 (AWS S3) administrator account
Step 1: Activation
🖥️ Go to your Dashboard> Store> Integrations and click on "AWS S3".
To finalize the activation, return to Dashboard> Store> Integration and click on "AWS S3": fill in the fields with your Amazon credentials using step 2 below.
Step 2: Retrieve your “Access Key” and “Secret Key”
To retrieve the “Access key” and “Secret key”, click on your username at the top right of the interface, then select "My security credentials".
- In the menu displayed on the left, click on "Users" then on your username.
- Select the "Security credentials" tab, then "Create access key".
You can then retrieve the “Access key” and “Secret key”.
Step 3: Retrieve the "region" and the "bucket"
That's it, your integration is complete! 🎉
Troubleshooting AWS S3 Integration Issues
If your AWS S3 integration stops working or experiences synchronization issues:
- Restart synchronization from both the Ringover platform and the AWS site
- Verify your bucket's access permissions and connectivity
- Check the integration status after attempting to restart
- Monitor recording developments after taking these actions
- Contact Ringover support if issues persist to understand the specific cause
If your integration is disabled or you cannot access call recordings:
- Export recordings via CSV from the Ringover dashboard
- Use the Ringover API (https://developer.ringover.com/#tag/calls) to access and download recordings
- Attempt to restart synchronization through both Ringover and AWS platforms
- Contact Ringover support if the issues continue to prevent proper recording access
