Office 365 integration allows you to seamlessly synchronize your organization's directory and contact details with Ringover. In this guide, you’ll learn how to activate the integration, manage user mapping, and configure contact and user syncing from Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
Prerequisites
Before connecting the systems, ensure your accounts meet the administrative requirements.
- You must have an active Ringover Power account.
- The integration must be installed by a Ringover administrator account.
- The integration must be installed by an Office 365 administrator account.
Sync contacts and users
1. Activate the Office 365 integration
Link your Ringover dashboard to Microsoft Office 365 and grant the required permissions.
- Navigate to the Integrations section.
- Locate Office 365 and click on Activate.
- Read the permissions prompt and click on Authorize.
2. Configure user mapping in Ringover
Assign active Ringover phone lines to your Microsoft Office 365 accounts.
- Go back to the Integrations section.
- Click on Configure next to Office 365.
- Click on Manage users.
- Activate the integration toggle next to each desired user.
Select exactly which directories, groups, and contact records sync over to your dialer.
Link users with a Microsoft Office365 account
- The user's account is linked automatically if the email address used in Ringover is the same as the one used in the tool.
Sync contacts (v4)
- Toggle in your configuration settings to quickly audit your sync status.
- This option displays the last 10 logs directly in your integration panel.
Sync Azure Active Directory users
- Toggle this option to make Azure AD users visible to everyone in your team.
- Synchronized fields include: First name / Last name, Display Name, and Deactivated status (active vs. inactive users).
Sync contacts from your organization
- Toggle this option to make your organizational contacts visible to everyone in your team.
- Synchronized fields include: First name / Last name, Display Name, and Deactivated status.
Azure AD Groups to synchronize
- Click the selection dropdown to specify exactly which Azure AD (Entra ID) groups should be included in the synchronization.
