Adding a number in Ringover improves customer service, facilitates internal organization, and establishes both local and international presence. Additionally, it offers flexibility, advanced features, cost reduction, and scalability, thereby enhancing your company's image and efficiency.
Prerequisites:
- To add numbers to your Ringover account, you must be an account administrator or have access to the Dashboard 👨💼
Adding a number
- 💻 Go to your Dashboard> Settings> Numbers
- Select "Add a number" at the top of the page
- Select your country, then the type of number you wish to obtain:

- Toll-Free Numbers: Allow customers to call for free. Ideal for companies aiming to offer accessible customer service without additional costs.
- Local Numbers: Associated with a specific region or city. Useful for companies looking to establish a local presence and be perceived as part of the local community.
- National Numbers: Not tied to a specific region and can be used nationwide. Offer a national appearance and are beneficial for companies operating nationally, wanting to be accessible from anywhere in the country without regional limitations.
- Mobile Numbers: Associated with mobile phones. Provide greater flexibility and mobility, usable anywhere with mobile coverage. Ideal for companies with remote or mobile employees.
- Select an area and then enter your company's address. If you don't have an address, you can add one by clicking "Add a new address"
To obtain numbers from a specific locality or country 📍, you must have an establishment in the corresponding country.
For example, if you want a number with an area code for Barcelona, you'll need to select or add an address for an establishment in Spain
- Select a number from the list:
💡 If none of the numbers fit your needs, you can generate a new list by clicking on the address or contact our numbers support team for further assistance.
- Once selected, the number will automatically be added to your list of available numbers
💡 Your billing 💰 will be updated at the end of the month with the price of the numbers you have added.
Request number portability
🚨 Exception for Belgian and Spanish numbers:
You must upload or select supporting documents to validate the number order via the specified address. A section is created for each required document, and you must select only one document per section.
The rest of the process remains unchanged: the number is ordered asynchronously. If the documents have already been validated once (through a previously successful order), this validation step is skipped.
Request number portability
- Select "Add a Number" at the top of the page and choose "Purchase Number."
- Select your country, then choose the number you wish to acquire.
- Provide your SIRET number and upload a phone bill for the relevant line dated within the last 3 months.
- Finally, choose your desired portability date.
💡 Your billing 💰 will be updated at the end of the month with the price of the numbers you have added.
