Copying a Call ID allows you to easily identify and troubleshoot specific interactions. In this guide, you’ll learn how to quickly locate and copy the Call ID from both your Web App and Dashboard.
Find and copy a Call ID
1. Copy a call ID from the Web App (Unified View OFF)
If you are not using the Unified View, you can find the Call ID directly in your logs.
- Go to your logs.
- Select the call and click on it.
- Click on the copy icon at the bottom of the call card.
2. Copy a Call ID from the Web App (Unified View ON)
If the Unified View is enabled, you have two options to copy the Call ID from your conversations.
Option 1: Direct Copy
Use this method for a quick copy directly from the conversation thread.
- Go to your conversations.
- Select the conversation.
- Click on the 3 little dots next to a call within the conversation.
- Select the "Copy call ID" option from the pop-up.
Option 2: From Call Details
Use this method if you want to view the call details before copying.
- Go to your conversations.
- Select the conversation.
- Click on the 3 little dots next to a call within the conversation.
- Click on "Call details".
- Copy the call ID displayed at the very bottom of the call details card.
3. Copy a Call ID from the Dashboard
You can also retrieve the Call ID directly from your main dashboard logs.
- Go to your logs.
- Select the call.
- Click on the three little dots on the right.
- Click on the copy icon to copy the call ID.
