The desktop app, or desktop application, is software that you can install on your desktop computer or laptop to access Ringover's features from your device.
Ringover's desktop app allows you to:
- Make voice and video calls
- Customize your settings
- Manage your contacts
- Send and receive SMS
When using Ringover's desktop app or desktop application, you will see the Ringover icon in the Windows taskbar. Below, we will explain the meaning of each color in the icon:
Green: You are connected to the application; you can receive calls
Red: You are not connected, so you cannot receive calls
Orange: You are connected, but we have not yet obtained your IP/SIP address information, which suggests that your SIP is not fully configured
