Edit a personal contact
Personal contacts can be created and managed individually by users. To edit a personal contact, follow these steps:
- Access your contacts and select "contacts" on the right side of your screen
- Select the contact you wish to edit 👤
- Click on the three dots located to the right of "Details" and select "Edit contact" to update the information
- Once you have updated the information, click on "Save"
That's it, the contact has been updated! 🎉
Edit a shared contact
Shared contacts in Ringover allow users to share contacts with other users within the same organization, facilitating collaboration and access to important information. To edit a shared contact, follow these steps:
- Access your Ringover Dashboard > Settings > Users
- Select the user and click "Edit," then "Permissions
- Activate the "Editing shared contacts" permission so that the user can modify the contacts.
- Now, access your contacts and select "contacts" on the right side of your screen.
- Select the contact you wish to edit 👤
- Click on the three dots located to the right of "Details" and select "Edit contact" to update the information
- Once you have updated the information, click on "Save"
That's it, the contact has been updated! 🎉
