Filter settings in CRM systems offer the ability to select which types of calls will create tasks, activities, records, or tickets (the term depends on each CRM) within the CRM itself. This filter is essential for improving operational efficiency, as it allows for more precise management of phone interactions.
Understanding the different types of calls
Typically, all types of calls are enabled by default, but you can customise them to include only missed, incoming calls or other specific criteria.
In Ringover, two main categories of calls are distinguished: incoming and outgoing. Below, we'll detail each of them:
Incoming calls
- Completed calls: These are calls that have been successfully made, meaning they have been established and completed with a connection between the caller and the recipient. This applies to both incoming and outgoing calls.
- Missed calls: These are calls where the recipient does not answer or rejects the call, resulting in a missed or unsuccessful communication.
- Voicemail: When a call is unanswered after a certain number of rings or is rejected, the caller can leave a voicemail message, which will be stored in the recipient's voicemail for later listening.
Outgoing calls
- Completed calls: These are calls that have been successfully made, meaning they have been established and completed with a connection between the caller and the recipient. This applies to both incoming and outgoing calls.
Adjusting the setting
Next, we'll explain how to adjust this setting.
- 🖥️ Go to your Ringover Dashboard > "Store" and "Integrations"
- Search for the integration to which you want to add this adjustment
- Click on "Configure" for the integration
- Look for the setting "Call types" and choose from the options:
-
Incoming calls:
- Completed calls
- Missed calls
- Voicemail
-
Outgoing calls:
- Completed calls
You will also see the options:
-
- All: By selecting this option, all types of calls will be considered.
- None: By selecting this option, no type of call will be considered.
And there you have it, now you know how to interpret the types of calls! 🎉
