How to integrate Ringover with Recruitee

The Ringover integration with Recruitee allows you to streamline your hiring process by syncing candidates, call activities, SMS, and WhatsApp conversations directly inside your recruitment platform. In this guide, you’ll learn how to activate the integration, locate your credentials, and configure settings for your team.

Prerequisites

  • An active Ringover Business account.
  • Administrative or technical account permissions in Ringover.
  • Matching email addresses between your Ringover and Recruitee accounts.

Set up and configure Recruitee integration

1. Retrieve Recruitee credentials and activate integration

Generate your Personal API token and find your Enterprise ID in Recruitee to connect with Ringover.

  1. Log in to your Recruitee account.
  2. Click on Settings at the top right of your page.
  3. Go to the Apps and Plugins section and click on Personal API tokens.
  4. Copy your Enterprise ID.
  5. Click + New token to generate and copy your API key.
  6. Go to your Ringover Dashboard > Store > Integrations.
  7. Locate Recruitee and click Activate.
  8. Enter your API key and Enterprise ID in the pop-up window, then confirm activation.

2. Configure your Recruitee integration settings

Customize call logging behaviors, candidate synchronization, and dialer fields to suit your recruitment workflow.

  1. Call types: Define and manage categories for incoming, outgoing, or missed calls.
  2. Include recordings in call logs: Choose which audio recordings (e.g., "All files") are attached to call logs.
  3. Restrict access to recordings: Toggle switch to limit user permission to access call recordings.
  4. Phone numbers: View and manage connected phone lines or select specific numbers.
  5. SMS messaging numbers: Select and manage phone numbers designated for SMS messaging.
  6. Group SMS conversations by: Select the time interval used to group SMS messages into threads (e.g., "Day (24 hr)").
  7. Link users with an account: Map Recruitee users or agents to their corresponding system account.
  8. Assign missed IVR calls to: Choose a user or team member (e.g., "Add user") to assign unhandled IVR calls.
  1. Log internal calls: Toggle switch to automatically log internal team calls within Recruitee.
  2. Include Ringover summaries in call logs: Toggle switch to attach Ringover call summaries to call logs.
  3. Include scenario name in call logs (for incoming IVR calls): Toggle switch to append the specific IVR scenario name to incoming call logs.
  4. Logs display language: Select the language used to display call log information (e.g., "en").
  5. Log calls as: Choose the Recruitee activity type generated for logged calls (e.g., "Note").
  6. Log WhatsApp messages: Toggle switch to automatically save WhatsApp messaging interactions.
  7. Log WhatsApp messages as: Choose the Recruitee record type used when logging WhatsApp messages (e.g., "Note").
  8. Group WhatsApp conversations by: Select the time interval to thread WhatsApp conversations (e.g., "Day (24 hr)").
  9. Create contact for calls: Choose which calls trigger automatic contact creation (e.g., "All calls").
  10. Create contact for SMS messages: Specify which incoming/outgoing SMS messages trigger automatic contact creation (e.g., "All").
  1. Create contact for WhatsApp messages: Toggle switch to automatically generate new contacts from incoming WhatsApp messages.
  2. Sync contacts (v4): Toggle switch to enable general contact synchronization with Recruitee.
  3. Sync contacts on a call-by-call basis: Toggle switch to trigger contact synchronization individually as each call occurs.
  4. Display contact's info during call and only store their info if call-by-call basis is activated: Toggle switch to show contact details on the dialer during calls and conditionally restrict storing data unless call-by-call sync is enabled.
  5. Mapped fields: Select Recruitee fields (e.g., Cover letter / candidate cover letter) mapped to display in the dialer's Info section.
💡 Tip: Install the Ringover Chrome or Firefox Extension to enable one-click Click-to-Call directly on candidate phone numbers within Recruitee.
