Enabling microphone and notifications in Microsoft Edge
1. Enable permissions via Pop-up
When you access your Ringover account for the first time, Edge will automatically ask for access.
- Go to your Ringover account.
- Wait for the permission message to appear at the top of the Microsoft Edge window.
- Click Allow to grant access.
If you missed the pop-up, you can quickly adjust your permissions directly from the address bar.
- Click on the padlock icon located on the top left.
- Enable the microphone and the notifications.
💡 From this menu, you can also select the option to "reset permissions" if you are experiencing issues and want to start over.
2. Configure permissions
If the message doesn’t appear or you want to check your current setup, you can adjust the general settings yourself.
- Click the three dots in the top right corner of Microsoft Edge to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Go to Privacy, search, and services.
- Click on Site permissions, then select All sites.
- In the microphone section, click on the box to select Allow (instead of Block or Ask default).
- Repeat the exact same process for your notification settings.
🎉 You now know how to configure your microphone and notifications in Microsoft Edge and can ensure your Ringover account runs perfectly!
