Parallel Dialer allows you to maximize the chances of connection by dialing two calls in parallel. In this guide, you’ll learn how to successfully activate and use the dual simultaneous call feature.
Prerequisites
- To use this feature, the Power Dialer must be available (Business or Advanced).
- Please note that this feature is currently available in the US, Spain, and the UK.
Activate and Manage the Parallel Dialer
1. Activate the Parallel Dialer Add-on
Start by purchasing the feature and assigning it to your active users.
- Go to the marketplace.
- Enable the Parallel Dialer Add-on.
- Select the users you want to activate the option for under "active licenses".
- Click on "Buy now" once you finish your decision.
2. Enable or disable the Parallel Dialer
You can turn the dual simultaneous call feature on or off directly from your interface.
- Go to your Power Dialer section in the Ringover Webapp.
- Click on the Parallel Dialer option.
- Set the delay between each call in seconds (e.g. after a 5-second delay, the next number will be contacted).
3. Manage Parallel Calls in Private Campaigns
The system automatically dials two calls in parallel to maximize connections. As soon as a customer picks up, the other call is immediately canceled to minimize costs and disruptions.
During a Private Campaign, when a call is canceled because another has been answered, it is automatically moved to the "Without Answer" column.
