Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) allows you to keep your current phone operator and use it with Ring's advanced cloud communication features. Before activation, contact your operator to check compatibility.
- Go to the Ringover Marketplace,
- Click on the "Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC)" option.
⚠ Warning: Before confirming activation, ensure your operator is compatible!
For each operator you wish to add:
- Add your Ringover account information to your service provider.
- Retrieve your service provider’s information and add it to Ringover.
Once your BYOC option is activated, you can add an operator. Click on "Add an Operator" and enter the required information with the help of your technical team:
- Operator's SIP trunk name and SIP trunk
- Operator's username and password
- Caller SIP prefix and recipient SIP prefix
- Custom SIP header
- Select the transport type: UDP, TLS, TCP
- Add the operator's IP address
Adding a BYOC Number
You can now add your desired numbers. Go to Configuration > Numbers and click on "Add a Number."
- Select the operator in which you want to add the numbers,
- Under "Add number," enter the desired number.
Each added line will adjust the total cost of the operation. Once you have entered all the desired numbers, click "Confirm and Add Numbers."
- A message will appear. If the changes are correct, you can finalize the operation.
