The "Tasking" feature allows users to efficiently manage and track their team's tasks. It provides the ability to assign tasks, monitor their progress, and quickly identify those that are pending or overdue.
Task Addition Process
Accessing Task Management
- The user accesses the "Task Management" section via the application interface.
- They can view ongoing tasks, completed tasks, and overdue tasks.
Adding a New Task
The user clicks the "Add Task" button to open a task creation popup.
Important: Allows marking the task.
- 📞 Call: Schedule a call with a contact or client.
- 💬 Message: Send a message (SMS, email, or other).
- 📅 Meet: Organize a meeting via a video conferencing service.
Add a User: Select a team member to assign the task to.
Add a Phone Number: Enter a phone number if the task involves a call or message.
Due Date and Time: Set a deadline date and time for task completion.
Description: Add details about the task (e.g., purpose of the call, message content, meeting link).
Task Tracking and Management
- Once the task is created, it appears in the list of assigned tasks.
- Each user can see the tasks assigned to them and update their status (in progress, completed, overdue).
- The manager can track task progress and receive notifications for overdue tasks.
This feature facilitates task distribution and improves team communication.
