This guide describes the steps to create a new persona in Pitch Room from Empower, detailing how to set up a profile either by using a pre-existing template or by starting completely from scratch.
Creating a Persona
1) Accessing Pitch Room
First, go to the Pitch Room from Empower. This is where you will find your saved personas. To find a specific template to start with, you can easily filter the available options by call use case or by difficulty level.
2) Create a new persona
Click Create new. You can choose to create a new persona using a template or from scratch. If you choose to create from scratch, the process remains the same but you will start with blank fields instead of pre-filled information.
2.1 General settings
- Start by choosing the profile picture and entering the persona's name.
- Next, select the voice, gender, role and industry.
- Choose the company size.
- You must also define the difficulty level for the persona by selecting from one of the four available levels.
2.2 Call setup
In the call setup stage, you configure the context of the simulation. If using a template, you can modify the call scenario, the objective of the call, the engagement strategy, the preferred communication style, and the key takeaways.
If you are starting from a blank setup, you will need to manually write :
- The call scenario
- Define the call objective
- Choose the call usecase (sales, customer support and recruitement)
- Engagement and prior communication
- Sales takeways
2.3 Behavioral traits
Next, you will define behavioral traits such as :
- Persona's personality type
- Negotiation style
- Objection handling
You can either write this information manually or use AI to fill in these fields depending on the tone you want to achieve.
2.4 User access
- Finally, define user access by selecting the specific user or group who will have access to this persona.
- You can grant access to everyone at once by clicking add all users.
- Once your configuration is complete, validate your setup by clicking Create coach.
3) Edit and Manage Personas
- Once saved, your persona will be available in the Pitch Room and ready to be used based on your training needs.
- If you need to make adjustments, you can duplicate or edit your persona at any time.
- By clicking edit, you can easily update the general setup, call setup, behavioral traits, and access settings.
