Clio is a cloud-based legal practice management software designed to help law firms manage clients, contacts, matters, documents, and daily workflows in one place.
The Ringover + Clio integration allows you to:
- Synchronize your Clio contacts with Ringover
- Automatically log calls in Clio
- Automatically log SMS and WhatsApp messages in Clio
- Benefit from AI-powered call summaries
- Display Clio contact information directly in the Ringover dialer
How to enable the Clio integration
I. Activate Clio from Ringover
1. Log in to your Ringover Dashboard .
2. Go to Integrations .
3. Search for Clio in the list of available integrations and click on it.
4. Click Activate.
5. You will be redirected to sign in to your Clio account.
6. Once signed in, authorize Ringover to access the required Clio data, including your contacts and clients.
7. Click Allow.
Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected to Ringover and the Clio integration will be activated.
II. Configure your settings
Stay on the Integrations page and click on Clio to open the configuration panel.

For a quick start from the integration panel:
- Make sure that you have mapped your users by clicking "+ Manage users".
2. Turn on contact synchronization to ensure that your Clio contacts are available and up to date in Ringover.
3. Enable activity logging so that calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messages are automatically logged in Clio.
Additionally:
- Verify that the users who are going to use the integration have their call recording enabled in the Dashboard user settings if you want to benefit from AI-powered call summaries.

Install the Ringover click-to-call extension in your browser.
Once the extension is installed, phone numbers in Clio can be used to place calls with Ringover.
You can now make a test call from a Clio contact by clicking on his phone number, place the call via the Ringover extension, and verify that the activity is logged in Clio.
The Ringover dialer will also display available Clio contact information, helping users identify callers and access relevant context faster.
Your Ringover integration is now complete with Clio! 🎉
