Ringover notifications allow you to stay updated on your incoming calls and messages without missing important interactions. In this guide, you’ll learn how to easily enable or disable notifications across your Webapp, web browsers, and mobile devices.
Managing your notifications
1. Manage notifications in the Webapp
You can control your notification preferences directly from your Ringover interface or when you first log in.
- Go to your Webapp.
- Click on the gear icon go access the settings page.
- Go to the "Notifications" section.
- Enable or disable the notification options proposed.
You can also activate notifications at the very beginning the moment you open the application.
2. Configure browser notifications
Ensure your browser allows Ringover to send you alerts.
Google Chrome
- Click on the settings icon at the left corner and enable the notification permission
OR
- Click the three little dots at the top right corner.
- Click on Settings.
- Go to Privacy and security.
- Select the Ringover app.
- Allow (or deny) the notifications.
Safari
- Go to your Safari settings.
- Click on Websites.
- Search for the Notifications section.
- Find the Ringover website and allow or deny the notifications.
3. Adjust notifications on your Mobile Phone
Customize alerts directly in your Ringover mobile app and your phone's general settings.
In the Ringover App
- Go to your Ringover mobile application.
- Tap on your profile picture to go to settings.
- Click on Settings.
- Go to the account settings section and click on Notifications.
- Enable or disable the options.
In your Phone's Settings
- Scroll down to the bottom where the "Security" section is located in your app.
- Click on Permissions to check what is allowed on your phone.
- Click on the Settings button at the bottom to open your phone's native settings.
- Go to the notification section of your phone.
- Tap on notifications and allow or deny the options.
