The Ringover integration with Efficy Enterprise allows your teams to log calls and SMS directly into Efficy, while linking communications to the appropriate CRM records.
Before activating the integration in Ringover, a one-time configuration must be completed on the Efficy side.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Ringover, make sure you have:
- An Efficy Enterprise administrator account
- An active Ringover account with administrator permissions
- Your Efficy Enterprise URL
- An Efficy API key
Step 1 – Generate an API key in Efficy Enterprise
- Log into Efficy Enterprise using an administrator account.
From the Tools menu, open the Efficy Designer.
Navigate to the Content Management tab and click on API keys
Create a new API key and click 'OK'
- Copy the generated API key.
Step 2 – Retrieve your Efficy URL
Your Efficy URL is the address you normally use to access your CRM.
For example:
https://company.efficy.cloudor
https://crm.company.comCopy this URL—you will need it during activation.
Step 3 – Activate the integration in Ringover
In Ringover:
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Open Efficy Enterprise.
- Click Activate.
The following window appears:
- URL → enter your Efficy Enterprise URL.
- API key → paste the API key generated in Efficy.
Then click Activate.
Once you open Efficy you will see this configuration panel:
Step 4 – Verify the connection
After activation:
- Place a test call using Ringover.
- Verify that the call is logged in Efficy.
- Confirm that the activity is attached to the correct contact.
If everything is configured correctly, the integration is now ready to use.
Here is how a logged call activity looks like in Efficy:
How the integration works
Once activated, Ringover automatically:
- logs inbound and outbound calls;
- logs SMS conversations;
- associates communications with matching Efficy contacts;
- attributes activities to the corresponding Efficy user.
FAQ
1. Troubleshooting "Authentication failed"
Verify that:
- the Efficy URL is correct;
- the API key is still valid;
- the API key belongs to a user with sufficient permissions.
2. Calls are not attached to contacts
This usually indicates that the required Ringover queries have not been installed.
Contact your Efficy administrator to verify that the Ringover query package has been deployed by Efficy Support.
3. Activities are assigned to the wrong user
The integration maps Ringover users to Efficy users when creating activities.
If activities are consistently assigned to the wrong user, verify that:
- the corresponding user exists in Efficy;
- the user mapping has been configured correctly.
