Activating and using the Power Dialer

The Power Dialer is an automated dialer system available on Ringover. This automatic dialer allows agents to manage a list of numbers either automatically or manually, creating an automatic dialing session with Power Dialer. ✌

 

When the session starts, the connection with the different numbers happens in real-time. Agents must pre-configure the "After Call" option to have time to register tags and call information. 🖊️

 

The Power Dialer helps you reduce the time spent on manual dialing, allowing you to focus on what really matters: talking with your current or potential customers. It’s also ideal for managing call campaigns. ⏱️

 

Prerequisite:

  • This feature is available with a Ringover Business or Advanced account. Otherwise, the add-on must be activated from the Marketplace.

 

 

Configuration and use of Power Dialer

 

Step 1: Activating the Power Dialer

 

  • Go to your ⚙️ settings in your Ringover Webapp,
  • In the "Calls" tab, go to the "Outgoing Calls" section.

 

  • Enable the "Power Dialer" option
    • Set the time after which you want the call to stop ringing.

💡 The "Power Dialer" icon will appear on the left side of the interface

 

 

Step 2: Using the Power Dialer

 

1. - Using the Ringover Chrome extension

 

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged into your Ringover account from the extension

 

When browsing a website with phone numbers:

 

  • Click on the Ringover extension icon (right-click or from the Google Chrome extensions icon)

 

  • The detected numbers will be automatically added to your list 👌

 

 

 

2. - Through click-to-call

 

  • Click on any visible phone number on a website
  • The number will be added directly to your Power Dialer list 🔠

 

 

3. - Import a CSV or TXT file

 

You can import number files to your Power Dialer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Power Dialer" tab

 

  • Select "Add file"

 

 

💡 Note:

  • Phone numbers must include the country code (e.g., +33123456789 ) and no special characters.
  • You can import only numbers or lists with additional information, such as names.
  • Use a comma (,) as a separator and check for duplicates.
  • If the file is too large, split it into smaller parts to avoid errors.

 

  • Upload the file
    • Select the column containing the phone numbers

 

 

  • Click "Done" once you've selected the column with the numbers

 

 

4. - Manual import

 

You can now manually import numbers into your Power Dialer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Power Dialer" tab

 

  • Select "Add manually"

 

💡 Note:

  • The phone number must be at the beginning of each line, followed by any additional information (name, surname, city, etc.) separated by commas (e.g., +33123456789 , John, Smith).

 

 

  • Click "Import" once you’ve added all the numbers

 

 

Step 3: Start a Power Dialer session

 

  • Once the numbers have been imported, you can create the campaign by clicking "Create Campaign"

 

 

  • To start the campaign, click the "Start" button on the top right of the screen

 

 

  • The numbers will be dialed one by one. To move to the next call, simply click the "Next" button (ARCEP Regulation) on the top right of the screen.

 

 

💡 When you finish your Power Dialer session, a list will automatically be created with calls that were not completed or for which you left a voicemail. This allows you to follow up with them later with a simple click.

 

Step 4: End or delete a Power Dialer session

 

You can end or delete the Power Dialer session at any time. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Power Dialer" tab

 

  • Click the "Trash" icon to reset your Power Dialer and delete your session

 

 

Now you can use the Power Dialer and save time dialing your numbers! 👌
