The "Forward to an external phone number" option allows you to configure forwarding of incoming calls from your Ringover app to an external mobile or landline number of your choice; this option is useful if you are unavailable to answer calls (e.g., in case of an internet outage) 🛜.
Prerequisites:
- You must have credits to forward calls to an external number 💰
Enable call forwarding from the Ringover Webapp
- Go to the "Call Forwarding" section settings in your Ringover profile
- Select the type of forwarding 📑:

- All calls: missed, incoming, outgoing...
- Only missed calls
- Select 'Forward to an external number' from the call forwarding options

The cost of call forwarding is $0.03/min
- Enter the external number to which calls will be forwarded
Note:
- Calls will be forwarded to the external number via Ringover, following the same settings and delays as those set for your Ringover numbers.
- Only one call can be redirected at a time per user with the function enabled.
Disable call forwarding from the Ringover Webapp
- Go to the "Call Forwarding" section settings in your Ringover profile as mentioned above
- Click the active button to disable call forwarding
Enable call forwarding from the Ringover mobile app
- Tap your avatar in the bottom right corner of the app
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Call Forwarding" in the "Call Settings" section
- Select the type of forwarding:

- All calls: missed, incoming, outgoing...
- Only missed calls
- Select 'Forward to an external number' from the call forwarding options
- Enter the external number to which calls will be forwarded
Disable call forwarding from the Ringover mobile app
- Tap your avatar in the bottom right corner of the app
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Call Forwarding" in the "Call Settings" section
- Tap the blue button to disable call forwarding
Your incoming calls will automatically be forwarded to the number you entered if you don’t answer! 👌
