Sending a Voicemail Campaign – Ringover Help Center

Voicemail campaigns allow you to record / upload an audio message that will be directly sent to the voicemail of the recipient without calling the phone first. The client receives a notification for a new voicemail and is very likely to hear your message.

Prerequisites:

After your registration, make sure you are the administrator of the 👨 Ringover account or a "Campaigns" Supervisor to be able to access this feature.
This service is only available for the following destination countries: France, the French Overseas Territories, the United Kingdom, and Spain.

Step 1: Configure access for the “Voicemail feature”

Only the account administrator can configure user access for the “Voicemail Campaigns” feature.

💻 Head to the “Users and Groups” section in the “Configuration” menu.
Select the user you want to grant access to the feature.
In the “Dashboard Access” section, select “Supervisor”, then tick the box for “Campaigns”✅.

Step 2: Access the “Voicemail Campaign” feature

💻 Head to the “Voicemail Campaigns” section.

Click on “Request access” 🔐. A request will then be sent to the support team, who’ll be able to grant you access to the “Voicemail Campaigns” feature as soon as possible.

Step 3: Send a Voicemail campaign

Once your request has been validated, you’ll have access to this feature.

To send a Voicemail campaign, click on “Create a new campaign”. Name your campaign, and then select your outgoing number (you can only choose from numbers in the French Metropolitan area +33).

Click "Create voice message" to create your voicemail message. You can then upload an mp3 file or use the Ringover online studio. Select "Listen to your voicemail" to preview the result before recording your message.

Enter or import the numbers you want to receive the message, separated by a comma or on a new line (maximum of 1000 recipient numbers per campaign).
By selecting “Clean up the list” 🗑️, you can delete all wrong numbers, or numbers outside of mainland France.
The cost of your campaign 💸 is automatically updated in line with the number of Voicemails sent (1 Voicemail = €0.20).
Click on “Create and launch” 📤 to send your Voicemail campaign.

The information for your campaign will then appear in the “Sent campaigns” section 💬: name, date, time, remaining recipients (numbers to which the messages have not yet been delivered).

💡 By selecting “Save campaign”, the campaign will be saved for sending later. You can modify any campaign, as long as it hasn’t been sent yet.

Sent campaigns with a ⚠️ warning sign are blocked. See the campaign details for more information.

A message “Insufficient credit” is displayed. In this case, please buy additional credit before relaunching your campaign.

Step 4: Monitor and track the campaign

Click on a campaign for further details: name of the person who created the campaign, date of creation, message, recipients,etc..

How do I send a voice message to someone?

To send a voice message, you first need to record it. You can access this feature in the “create a new campaign” menu. You have the option to listen to the message and re-record it if necessary. Next, you just need to provide your recipients' numbers by importing a list. Ringover allows you to clean up your list and remove incorrect numbers and those not located in mainland France. Finally, just click "launch the campaign" to send the message.

How do I send a voice message without calling?

As an individual, it is generally necessary to go through your operator's voicemail server to send a voice message without calling. Typically, the user must dial the server's number, then it prompts them to enter the recipient's phone number. The user can then leave their message. With Ringover, all this is simplified. Just record the message to be sent, select the recipient's phone number(s), and send your message. There is no need to go through an operator or third-party service.

How do I send a voice message with my iPhone?

You need to switch to Ringover's web app to launch your voice message campaigns. You can do this from your iPhone by going to app.ringover.com. Your dashboard is also available on mobile at the following address: dashboard.ringover.com.
