The feature, that we call “collaborative texting” 💬 allows you to provide multiple users with a common mobile number!
You will be able to set up a customer service by SMS and your teams can therefore be more reactive to ensure better follow-up 🤝 with your clients.
When a text message comes in 📩, all team members to whom you have granted rights will be able to read the message and respond.
Step 1: Assign a shared mobile number through an IVR
First verify that you have at least one mobile number available on https://dashboard.ringover.com/ivrs to assign this number to one of your IVRs:
Under IVR configuration 🖊️, you can add users and groups under the “SMS settings” section:
By clicking on the “bubble” icon above, you can allow users and/or groups to send text messages. If the icon is grey ❌, they will only be able to read text messages:
Step 2: Send text messages from a shared number
The users/groups to which you have granted rights will be able to send text messages 💬 from their page https://app.ringover.com/sms
