Tagging calls in Ringover helps organize and manage communications. It allows you to categorize interactions, quickly access relevant information, and analyze data to improve efficiency.
Prerequisites:
- You must be an account administrator 👨💼 to access the Dashboard and enable this feature.
- You must first activate the free feature in your Marketplace.
Step 1: Create and edit tags / Tag groups
- 💻 Go to your Dashboard> Configuration> Call Tags.
To create a tag group:
- Click on "Create a group"
- Name the group
- Then go to the step “Add a tag” below
To add a tag to a group:
- Click “Add a tag” to create the tags you want to use
- Name it, choose a color, and select who can access the tag 🖌️
Good to know:
- 💡 If no user is selected, the tag will be available to all users
- 💡 You can define the maximum number of tags that can be used per call (No limit in the image below)
Step 2: Allow users to tag their calls
- 🖥️ Go to your Dashboard > Configuration > Users
- Select a user and click on “Edit”
- Check the box “Tag calls” in the “Calls” section under “Permissions”
💡 You’ll then have the option to apply the permission to other users as well.
Note:
- You can enable mandatory notes and tags after each call to better track customer interactions. Click here to learn how to enable mandatory notes and tags.
Step 3: Tag calls
- 🖥️ Go to your Ringover Webapp
- Click on the "Tags" button at the top right of the screen
- Click on the tag icon under each call to add a tag (shown with a red circle)
- Search for the desired tag and click on it to assign it to the call
💡 You can also add or remove tags by clicking directly on the call log
That's it — now you know how to tag your calls and keep them organized! 🎉
