What this is about

In your Cadence account, you can book demos and schedule events with the Calendy custom variable. 

 

Prerequisite

You must sign in to your Gmail with the same account you use to access your Calendly account.

 

Connecting with Calendly

 

  • Step 1: Go to the Profile page> Scroll down to Connect with Calendly.
  • Step 2: From the options Do you have a premium Calendy account?

Choose Yes if you have a premium Calendy account or No if you don't.

 

 

 

  • With a premium Calendy account: To go on with the process there are a few steps you need to complete 

 

  1. Authentication - Click on the button Connect with Calendy. 

  2. This’ll redirect you to the authentication page. Login and give access to your Calendy account 

  3. After successfully connecting your account it would show you a pop-up stating “Authentication Successful”. 

  4. Selecting event - Next, choose the event for which people will receive a link to make bookings for demos. Click on the button Select event name, you can select any option from the drop-down. These events come directly from your Calendly account.


  • Without a premium Calendy account: To go on with the process there is a step you need to complete 

  1. Enter your Calendy link on the available field space.

  2. Click on the Save link button. 

  3. This link will be used for Calendly variables each time you utilize the Calendly variable feature from any page.

 

Things to remember

  • If you are a Premium Calendly user and the event is not selected from the profile page and you use the {{calendly_link}} from any specific page, an error stating Event not Selected will appear. Please remember to select the event after connecting your Calendly account to avoid this inconvenience.

  •  In the case of Non-Premium user/Free User, if the Calendly link of your profile is not given and you use the {{calendly_link}} variable from any page it will show an error saying Calendly link not found. So make sure you save the link from your profile settings.
