Steps to add SMS A/B testing
The steps to use this important feature SMS A/B Testing there are few steps to follow. Here are the steps.
1. Go to the Cadence edit step page. Make sure your cadence is paused in case it is a running cadence, you won’t be able to edit steps.
2. In order to use SMS A/B Testing, first we need to add a step of SMS. For that we have to click on Add step inside that particular cadence and then you can click on the SMS icon and type the message that you want to send as SMS.
3. Click on the Option in the top right corner. You can enable the A/B Testing toggle from the options menu on the top right while editing SMS steps, and then you can add different SMS variations.
4. Turning on this toggle there will be multiple templates showing the percentages of the probability of sending that particular SMS to be sent to any user.
Things to remember while using SMS AB Testing
There are few things that you should always remember while using this particular feature. These are below:
- Point 1: When you enable AB Testing, minimum of 2 SMS types appear which is SMS A and SMS B. You can add maximum of 4 different types of SMS body like SMS A, SMS B, SMS C, and SMS D.
- Point 2: Now you can distribute the percentage of the SMS to be sent either manually or just by turning on the toggle Distribute equally.
- Point 5: You can make use of the import template feature in this section without writing SMS again and again simply by clicking on the Import Template option here. This will help you to reduce the time for writing the same type of SMS body.
- Select the template and click on Import template.
- This is how your SMS would get imported from already created templates.
