Download the LinkedIn Extension
- Step 1: Go to the Settings page> profile section > My connection
- Step 2: Scroll down to LinkedIn section.
- Step 3: Click on the Install LinkedIn Extension button and add the extension from the chrome store.

- Step 4 [*Recommended]: After the extension has been downloaded successfully, pin it from the browser extension settings.
- Step 5: Now, Click the Cadence Extension and Sign in with your cadence account.
Update cookie in cadence
There are two ways to update a cookie in the cadence tool, i.e. Automatically or Manually:
Update cookie automatically
- Step 1: Open Cadence LinkedIn Extension and Sign in with your Cadence Account.
- Step 2: Go to the Cadence Extension menu and select the Update cookie in the cadence option.
- Step 3: Now, Your cookie will get updated in Cadence Profile Settings automatically.
Update cookie manually
- Step 1: Click Cadence LinkedIn Extension and Sign in with your Cadence Account.
- Step 2: Open the Cadence Extension menu from the top right of the extension and select the Copy session cookie option.
- Step 3: Now, Open Cadence and go to Profile Settings.
- Step 4: Paste this into the LinkedIn session cookie field in cadence profile settings.
- Step 5: Save the pasted cookie.
Exporting a lead/contact from LinkedIn Extension
You can choose whether you want a lead to be stored in CRM or both in CRM and Cadence. Let’s read more about them:
Export lead/contact to only CRM
(For example, adding the prospect only in Salesforce but not in cadence)
- Step 1: Go to any LinkedIn profile and open the cadence LinkedIn extension.
- Step 2: Scroll down to Export To and select Salesforce.
- Step 3: After Selecting the export type i.e. lead or contact, click Export prospect.
- Step 4: This would create a lead/contact page for that prospect in salesforce. It will not add any cadence.
Export lead/contact to both CRM and Cadence
(For example, adding the prospect in Salesforce and Cadence)
- Step 1: Go to any LinkedIn profile and open the cadence LinkedIn extension.
- Step 2: Scroll down to Export To and select Salesforce and Cadence.
- Step 3: Select export type i.e. lead or contact.
- Step 4: You can just select the cadence in which you want to store that lead.
- Step 5: Click Export prospect when you are done.
- Step 6: Now, a lead/contact page will be created for that prospect in salesforce. Also, the lead will get added to the selected cadence.
Add-on tools in LinkedIn Extension:
You can also use Add-on tools like Lusha, Kaspr, Hunter, etc. in order to store a lead full of useful information.
Prerequisites
- Admin/Super Admin must have given permission
- Admin/Super The admin has enabled the usage of add-on tools in LinkedIn Extension.
Using Add-ons
- Step 1: Visit any LinkedIn profile that you want to add as the lead in cadence.
- Step 2: Open the Cadence LinkedIn extension. You will get multiple add-on tools on the top right, to enrich data from your LinkedIn profile.
Add-on Tools available
