Hunter
Hunter lets you find professional email addresses in seconds and connect with the people that matter to your business. This Add-on tool is the third Add-on Tool available in the Add-on Tool section. It extracts only one email of a particular lead.
Prerequisites
There are also some prerequisites for extracting data from any lead using this Add-on Tool. First name, Last name, and the Company name/Company domain are required to be filled in so that Hunter can enrich data.
Places to find and use Hunter
You can find Hunter in various places like the Task page, People page, and LinkedIn extension. You are allowed to access the Add-on Tools only when the super admin/admin has granted you permission to use it.
- Steps to use Hunter from the task page:
A. Go to the task page, and click on any task.
B. Click on the pencil icon to open the edit modal. Tap on the Hunter icon to enrich the data.
- Steps to use Hunter from the prospect page:
A. Go to the prospect page, and click on any prospect.
B. Click on the lead edit modal, on top you can find the Hunter icon.
- Steps to use Hunter from the LinkedIn extension:
A. Visit any LinkedIn profile.
B. Click on the cadence extension and log in with your cadence profile.
C. Click the Hunter icon to email.
- Configure Settings:
Before taking any actions, you need to activate Hunter. You can activate/ deactivate Hunter Add-on Tool from the top right after opening configure settings. All other settings on config. page are explained below:
- Add-on Tools setting
In this section, there are three important settings:
A. API key: You’ll have to provide a unique API key that helps to build a connection with Hunter. You can get this API key from your Hunter account.
B. Daily API limit: In this field, you can set your daily Hunter limit.
C. LinkedIn extension: This option is to enable/disable the use of Hunter Add-on Tools on the Cadence LinkedIn extension.
- Field values:
In these settings, you need to set the Lead and Contact fields. When Hunter finds any email, it will fill the particular detail into those mapped fields for Lead and Contact.
- Groups and members:
Here, the Super admin and Admins can choose members from different groups and give them the power to use Hunter. You can also turn on "Give access to newly added users" to grant permission automatically when a new member joins that group.
