Dropcontact
Dropcontact lets you find professional email addresses in seconds and finally allows the Sales team to focus on their sales. This tool is the fifth tool available in the Add-on Tool section. It can extract only one email of a particular lead.
Prerequisites
There are also some prerequisites for extracting data from any lead using this Add-on Tool. A website, a first name, and a last name are enough to get a 100% GDPR compliant nominative and verified email from dropcontact.
Places to find and use Dropcontact
You can find Dropcontact in various places like the Task page, People page, and LinkedIn extension. You are allowed to access the Add-on Tools only when the super admin/admin has granted you permission to use it.
- Steps to use Dropcontact from the task page:
A. Go to the task page, and click on any task.
B. Click on the pencil icon to open the edit modal. Tap on the Dropcontact icon to enrich the data.
- Steps to use Dropcontact from the people page:
A. Go to the people page and click on any lead.
B. Click on the lead edit modal, and you can find the Dropcontact icon on top..
- Steps to use Dropcontact from the LinkedIn extension:
A. Visit any LinkedIn profile.
B. Click on the cadence extension and log in with your cadence profile.
C. Click the Dropcontact icon to enrich email.
- Configure Settings:
Before any actions, you need to activate Dropcontact. You can activate/ deactivate Dropcontact Add-on Tool from the top right after opening configure settings. All other settings on configure page are explained below:
- Add-on Tools setting
In this section there are three important settings:
A. API key: You’ll have to provide a unique API key that helps to build a connection with Dropcontact. You can get this API key from your Dropcontact account.
B. Data Enrichment: You can set Add-on data settings for the situation, when there's an empty field and when there is an existing value.
I. Update only if the field is empty: This will only enrich data into the fields when they are empty.
II. Update even if there is an existing value: This will overwrite the existing value and fill Dropcontact’s enriched data.
C. Daily API limit: In this field, you can set your daily Dropcontact limit.
C. LinkedIn extension: This option is to enable/disable the use of Dropcontact Add-on Tools on the Cadence LinkedIn extension.
- Field values:
In these settings, you need to set the lead and contact fields. When Dropcontact finds any email, it will fill in the particular details into those mapped fields for Lead and Contact.
- Groups and members
Here, the Super admin and Admins can choose members from different groups and give them the power to use Dropcontact. You can also turn on "Give access to newly added users" to grant permission automatically when a new member joins that group.
After that, click on the Activate integration button.
