About
Sending attachments to leads is possible with Cadence. Attachments can be imported using the feature Template.
With templates’ ability to import attachments in the mail from many parts, including the People page and the Template page, you can quickly attach any files to send. Only tasks involving email are eligible for this feature.
Prerequisites

The Cadence user and the lead both should have a valid email address.

At the time of adding the template from the Template page, all the required fields, like template name, level, and body, have to be filled in correctly, they can't be empty.
How to create a template with attachments
You can import an attachment using a Template from any part of the cadence:
In every case, you must create a template with an attachment and then import it.

From the Template page:
To import the attachment from the Template page, you need to follow the steps shown below:
- Step 1: Go to the Template page > Email section > Click on Add new.
- Step 2: Now the Add Template modal will open in front of you. Fill up all the required fields here, as well as the email content, and then click the Attachment button to add a file.
- Step 3: Next up, you have to choose the file from your device, The file you've selected from your device will now show in the email body. And then you must click on the Add template button. Thus, a template will be created and ready to be added.
Using Templates with Attachments in Emails

From the People page:
To import the attachment using a template from the People page, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Go to the People page > click on any lead > click on the email icon.
- Step 2: Now that the send mail modal has appeared, go down the screen to find the Load template button and click on it.
- Step 3: A modal will now pop up, allowing you to select the template of your choice. Make sure to select the template with an attachment.
- Step 4: Click on the Import button. Thus a template with an attachment will be imported.
- Step 5: Now click on the Send email button to send the mail with the attachment.

From the Cadence page:
These are the steps to follow in order to import the attachment using the template from the Cadence page:
- Step 1: To create a new cadence, go to the Cadence page and fill out all the initial essential fields like cadence name, type, and description.
- Step 2: Select the step Mail in the cadence step list.
- Step 3: The subject and body of the mail will display on the right side of the screen once you click the option mail. Now head over to the Import template option on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Step 4: A modal will now pop up, allowing you to select the template of your choice. Make sure to select the template with an attachment.
- Step 5: Click on the Import button. Thus, a template with an attachment will be imported.
- Step 6: The details of the mail will be displayed on the screen after the attachment has been imported. You must then click on the Launch Cadence option in order to perform the mail task.

From the Task page:
These are the steps to follow in order to import the attachment using the template from the People page:
- Step 1: Go to the Task page > Click on any mail task available on the page.
- Step 2: Next up, the task modal will appear on the right side of the screen.
Click on the Send Automated mail button.
- Step 3: Now that the send mail modal has appeared, go down the screen to find the Load template button and click on it.
- Step 4: Another modal will now pop up, allowing you to select the template of your choice. Make sure to select the template with an attachment.
- Step 5: Click on the Import button. Thus a template with an attachment will be imported.
- Step 6: Now click on the Send email button to send the email with the attachment.
