Importing leads from Dynamics
What is this about?
In this document, we will learn how to add leads to cadence in Dynamics. There are some steps to import leads using .xlsx and Dynamics. These steps are explained below under the headings:
The steps to import leads:
Step 1: Log in to your cadence account and go to the cadence page.
Step 2: Go to the people section inside the cadence and click on the Import button.
Step 3: After you click on the import button, you can see two alternatives. Either you can import directly from Dynamics or you can import the .xlsx file.

Importing from Dynamics:
You will be taken to the Dynamics account associated with your Dynamics page after selecting the Import from Dynamics option.
Step 1: Select the contact option on the left-hand side of the screen by scrolling down
Step 2: Go to the contact section and click on Contact.
Step 3: You may see every contact on the page as soon as you navigate to the Contact section. Now, you have the option of selecting each contact separately or all of them simultaneously. After choosing your contacts, you can now import the contact by selecting the add to cadence option.
Step 4: You will then be taken directly to the cadence import page. Click the Select the cadence option to choose the cadence into which you wish to import the leads.
Step 5: You can choose the cadence from the various varieties available here, like Recent, Personal, and Company. From the drop-down menu, choose your preferred cadence.
Step 6: After selecting the cadence, click on the Add button.
Step 7: You will be able to view the status Success on the right-hand side of the imported leads and a pop-up notification indicating the completion of the import when the leads are successfully imported to the cadence.

Importing from the .xlsx file:
Step 1: After you have selected the option to import leads from .xlsx Now you can import leads by dragging and dropping or by browsing and then clicking on Import Leads.
Step 2: After uploading a CSV file, you'll be redirected to the field mapping page. Here, You have to do the field mapping properly so that mapped field data gets added whenever a lead gets added to the Cadence. Remember, Ringover cadence fields with an * are mandatory to map.
Step 3: After mapping, the import leads page will open. When no status is shown in the picture, the contact is absent. Import the contact into the tool by selecting it and clicking on Add.
Step 4: After you click on Add, the leads will get added to Cadence, and you will see the Success status on the right-hand side of the screen.
Note:
- If, after importing the leads, the status indicates an error, as in the image below, check the error message by clicking on it as it might have a different error like the first name not present, etc.
- When a contact is clicked in Dynamics, the user is taken to the contact's information page, where the Add to Cadence button is also present. This allows the user to import just one contact or Lead at a time.
