Edit a personal contact
Personal contacts can be created and managed individually by users. To edit a personal contact, follow these steps:
- 💻 Go to your Ringover Webapp
- Go to the "Your Network" section, represented by the "Contacts" icon on the left side of your screen
- Select the contact you wish to edit 👤
- Click on the three dots located to the right of "Details"
- Select "Edit contact" to update the information
Important note: Your collaborators or yourself will not be able to modify a contact unless they have been granted permission through the "Add a contact to your directory" option.
Can't see the three-dot menu?
If you can't see the three-dot menu to edit a contact, it likely means the contact is owned by another user. Contact modification rights in Ringover depend on contact ownership. You'll need to:
- Request the contact's owner to modify the contact for you, or
- Ask them to grant you modification rights by checking the 'Your team' option under 'Who can modify this contact?'
That's it, the contact has been updated! 🎉
