The transcription in Ringover allows for the automatic conversion of voice call audio into written text. It provides a convenient way to extract more value from vocal interactions by making them accessible and documented in text form.
Prerequisites only for transcription:
- You need to have enabled "Activating conversation recording for a user".
- The call must be longer than 10 seconds.
How to access transcription from the Dashboard
🖥️ Go to your Dashboard> Logs> Call Log.
- To access the call transcription, you have two possible options:

- Click on the three horizontal dots located on the right side of the call you wish to review.
- Click on the icon located to the right of the call recording.
A popup window will appear, where you can:

- Add notes and/or tags to the call (indicated by a red line).
- Select the audio type (Mono or Stereo), playback speed, and download the recording in ".mp3", ".txt", or ".csv" format (indicated by a red square).
- Change the language of the transcription (indicated by a red circle).
- Adjust the volume of each participant by clicking on their icon.
- Enter desired words in the search bar to find the passages you're looking for.
How to access transcription from the WebApp
🖥️ Go to your Ringover Webapp, click on the call you wish to observe and a popup window will appear, where you can:

- View, in addition to the call recording, the transcription section, where you'll find:
- The search bar to find call passages (indicated by a red square).
- The icon to translate the transcription into English, French, or Spanish (indicated by a red square).
