Call scripts provide a clear structure for phone conversations, ensuring each interaction aligns with your business goals and brand identity. Prerequisites
- You must have a Ringover Advanced account to take advantage of this functionality.
- Please note that you can add only one call script per IVR or campaign, but they can be applied to both IVR and call campaigns.
Create and manage Call Scripts
1. Add a call script to an IVR
You can assign a script directly to your IVR so agents are prepared when handling specific call flows.
- Go to the "IVR's" section.
- Create or select the IVR to which you want to apply the call script.
- Click on the "Add call script" button in the general information section.
- Draft and structure the content of the script (click on the line under the options).
- Save the script and the campaign.
2. Add a call script to a Call Campaign
You can also configure scripts for your outbound call campaigns directly from the dashboard.
- Go to the "Call campaigns" section.
- Select the call campaign to which you want to apply the script.
- Click the "pen" button to access the campaign.
- Draft and structure the content of the script.
- Save the script.
3. Create a script in your Webapp
For your private call campaigns, you can manage and write scripts directly from your web interface.
- Go to your private call campaign in the Ringover webapp.
- Click on the Script option.
- Write your script.
💡 Tip: You can make a template with this script and save it to use later or for another private campaign.
4. Troubleshooting and Important Information
Keep the following parameters in mind to ensure your call scripts function correctly:
- Visibility: Call scripts are currently only visible for outgoing calls in the Ringover dialer. They do not appear for incoming calls.
- System assignment: Make sure to add the script to the specific phone system you want to use it in.
