Having your emergency address up-to-date ensures a quick and efficient response from emergency services when needed. In this guide, you’ll learn how to add an emergency address from your Dashboard or Webapp, and how to resolve failed alerts to keep you and your loved ones safe.

Prerequisites

An admin account on Ringover is required to add an emergency address from the Dashboard.
You must contact our support team to enable this feature.

Adding an emergency address

1. Add an emergency address from the Dashboard

If you are an account administrator, you can configure the default emergency address directly from your account settings.

Go to your Dashboard.
Go to Settings and select Other.
Scroll down to find the "Default Emergency Address" option at the bottom of the page.
Click on Add new address.
Choose an address from the list.
Review and update the information if needed.
Click Confirm to save the address.

You can modify or delete the address at any time by clicking on the three dots located on the right.

2. Add an emergency address from the Webapp

You can also add or update your emergency address directly from your personal Ringover Webapp profile.

Go to your Ringover Webapp.
Navigate to your settings in the General section.
Look for the "Emergency Address" option in the Language and Region section.
Select the country of the address you want to add.
Fill in the required fields.
Click Submit to register the address.

The emergency address feature is currently available for France and the United States; if you select "Other," the option will be disabled.

3. Resolve failed emergency address alerts

If you receive a failed emergency address alert in the Ringover system, follow these steps to correct it.

Navigate to the Dashboard.
Go to Settings and select the Other section.
Verify the emergency address and update it to match your actual work location.
Ensure the address is correctly assigned to the user's profile.

⚠️ The address must accurately reflect the physical location where the user works for a proper emergency services response.
