- SMS are logged as actions.
- WhatsApp conversations are logged as actions.
- Sync candidates and contacts.
- CRM fields available in the dialer.
Now, let’s move on to integrating the tool 📳
Prerequisites:
- You need a Ringover Business or Advanced account to use this integration 💳.
- The integration must be done by a Ringover administrator or technical account 👨💼.
- The integration requires a BoondManager Super User account 🦊.
- Before activating the integration, the BoondManager admin must enable the option "Allow API Rest calls using BasicAuth authentication" in your BoondManager account (see screenshots below).
Step 1: Enable the "Allow API Rest calls" option
- Log in to your BoondManager account.
- Click on your avatar, located at the top right, and select Configuration.
- On the Configuration page, enable the option Allow API Rest calls using BasicAuth authentication.
Step 2: Verify access to the "Resources" module
- Go to the Administration menu.
- Open the Managers / Roles page.
- Click on your Super User role.
- In the "Core modules" section, ensure access to the Resources module is enabled. This is essential for synchronizing your users with Ringover.
💡 Now you can return to the Ringover Dashboard.
Step 3: Retrieve your token and client key
- Go back to the Administration section.
- Scroll down and click on the Developer Space link.
- In the Developer Space, click on the API / Sandbox tab.
- Copy your Client Token and Client Key.
Step 4: Activate in Ringover
To link your BoondManager account to your Ringover account:
- 💻 Go to Dashboard > Store > Integration.
- Search for "BoondManager" and click on Activate.
- Enter your BoondManager login credentials (username and password).
Step 5: Configure your BoondManager integration
- Go back to Dashboard > Store > Integration and click Configure next to BoondManager.
- Paste your Client Token and Client Key into the designated fields.
- Map your Ringover users to your BoondManager users by clicking Manage Users.
- If your users have the same email address on both platforms, they will appear under the Automatic section.
- Otherwise, in the Manual section, click Add to add a user. Select the Ringover user and the BoondManager user, then click Associate.
IMPORTANT:
After selecting the BoondManager and Ringover users, you need to enter the token for each user.
This token links Ringover call activities to the corresponding BoondManager user. Without the token, BoondManager's admin will appear as the author of the activities.
How to retrieve user tokens?
BoondManager users can find their user token in their account:
- Log in to BoondManager and click on their username at the top right, then Configuration.
- Click the arrow to expand the API section.
- Copy the User Token.
- Admins can now retrieve user tokens to add them in Manage Users > Access Token, and then save.
- You can now activate contact synchronization and make test calls.
- Logs of call activities will appear under the Actions tab on your contacts and candidates' records.
For more information on configuration, check our dedicated section: "How to configure your tool?"
