What is this about?
In this document, we will learn how to add prospects to cadence from Vincere. There are some steps to import prospects using CSV. These steps are explained in below headings:
Exporting CSV from Vincere:
Step 1. In Vincere, choose Advanced Search Options from the top left menu.
Step 2: Select contact.
Step 3: Then click on the hamburger menu.
Step 4: Then click on Export to CSV.
Step 5: Enter the name of the file.
Note: This CSV export is limited to a maximum of 5,000 records per export. The CSV file will be sent to your registered email.
Importing CSV into Cadence:
Note: The Cadence import limit is 1000 from CSV.
Step 1. Open the Prospect tab in Cadence.
Step 2. Click on Import.
Step 3: Click on the Import from Excel button.
Step 4. Now you can import leads by dragging and dropping or by browsing and then clicking on Import Leads.
Step 5. After uploading a CSV file, you'll be redirected to the field mapping page. Here, you have to do the field mapping properly so that mapped field data gets added whenever a lead gets added to the Cadence. Remember, Ringover cadence fields with * are compulsory to map.
Step 6. After mapping, the import leads page will open. When no status is shown in the picture, the contact is absent in cadence. Import the contact into the tool by selecting and clicking on Add.
Step 7. After you click on Add the leads will get added to Cadence and you will see the Success status on the right-hand side of the screen.
Status of Cadence on the Import Page
In between the timing of importing the leads and adding them to Cadence, there can be two types of status for the Cadence.
- Active - This shows that the contact is already present in the tool.
- Error - Clicking an error message gives information about why the lead cannot be imported. When a “User not present in cadence” error is found, it implies that the user is not signed up with cadence, so the user must be added to the tool to allow imports.
