Empower lets you create, modify, and delete groups directly from the platform, without needing a Ringover account. This functionality makes it easy to manage teams, stay organised, and access Empower’s essential tools, ensuring an agile and efficient workflow for all users.
Creating a group
- Go to the Empower settings
- Select the "Group Management" category
- Click "Create Group" in the top-right corner of the screen
- Name your group and choose a color
- Check "Make Group Public (anyone can join)" to make it accessible to everyone
💡 A public group can be joined by anyone, while in a private group, an invitation is required
- Click "Add Users" to include members in the group
- Select the users you wish to add
💡 If you select the wrong user, click "Remove" to delete them from the group
- Once you’ve selected all users, click on "Done"
- Save changes by clicking on "Save changes"
Modifying a group
- Go to the Empower settings
- Select the "Group Management" category
- Find and select the group you want to edit. Here, you can:

- Change the group’s name
- Change the group’s color
- Add users
- Remove users
- Leave the group
💡 Note
- When modifying a group in Empower, the changes will also apply in Ringover
- Save changes by clicking on "Save changes"
Deleting a group
- Go to the Empower settings
- Select the "Group Management" category
- Find the group you want to delete
- Click on the three vertical dots on the right of the group. Here, you’ll see:

- Leave the group: You leave the group, but it remains active for others
- Delete the group: The group is deleted for all users
💡 If you choose "Delete group":
- Click "Delete" to confirm the action
⚠️ Important
- Ensure that deleting the group is necessary, as it cannot be recovered afterward
