Delete and manage your call logs
1. Enable call deletion permissions
Before users can delete call logs, an administrator must enable the proper permissions in the Ringover dashboard.
- Go to your Users page
- Select the user and click on Edit
- Go to Permissions and go to "Calls"
- Enable the option to allow the user to delete calls.
2. Delete calls from your dashboard
Once permissions are active, you can easily remove call logs or recordings directly from your dashboard call history.
- Go to your call logs.
- Select the calls you want to delete.
- Choose to delete either the call log or the recording.
3. Delete calls from the Webapp
You can also remove call records while working directly within the Webapp interface.
- Click on the call from your call log
- Wait for the call detail pop-up to appear
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner
- Click on Delete
There may be a delay of several minutes between deleting a call and its removal from the call log. During this time, the deleted call may still appear in your logs.
4. Troubleshoot deletion issues
If you are experiencing issues deleting calls from your log, check the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check your configuration: Ensure you are using the correct deletion method within the Ringover interface.
- Wait and refresh: Wait a few minutes after deletion for system delays, then refresh your browser page.
