How to integrate Ringover with Flatchr

The Ringover integration with Flatchr allows you to streamline recruitment workflows by initiating one-click calls directly from Flatchr, synchronizing candidate contacts, and automatically logging calls, messages, and AI summaries. In this guide, you’ll learn how to generate your API keys in Flatchr, activate the integration in Ringover, configure your sync preferences, and make calls with the Ringover Dialer extension.

Prerequisites

  • An active Ringover Business account or higher.
  • Administrative permissions on your Ringover Dashboard.
  • A Flatchr account with an administrator role.

Connect and configure Flatchr integration

1. Generate an API key in Flatchr

Retrieve your API key and company key directly from the advanced settings of your Flatchr workspace.

  1. Log in to your Flatchr account.
  2. Open the Settings menu.
  3. In the left sidebar, scroll down and click on Advanced.
  4. Click on the API tab.
  5. Click on the Add a key button.
  6. Enter a name for your key and click Add.
  7. Copy both your API key and your Company key.

2. Activate Flatchr in Ringover

Enter your Flatchr authentication credentials into the Ringover integration portal.

  1. Log in to your Ringover Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Store > Integrations.
  3. Search for Flatchr and click on it.
  4. Paste your API key into the Token field.
  5. Paste your Company key into the corresponding field.
  6. Click Activate.

3. Configure your integration settings

Customize how candidate profiles, calls, and messaging records synchronize between both systems.

  1. Call types: Manage and filter categories for inbound, outbound, or missed calls.
  2. Include recordings in call logs: Select which audio recordings (e.g., "All files") are attached to call logs.
  3. Restrict access to recordings: Toggle switch to limit user access permissions for audio recordings.
  4. Phone numbers: View and manage connected phone lines or select specific numbers.
  5. SMS messaging numbers: Select and manage phone numbers designated for SMS messaging.
  6. Group SMS conversations by: Choose the time interval used to group SMS messages into threads (e.g., "Day (24 hr)").
  7. Link users with an account: Map Flatchr users or agents to their corresponding system account via "Manage users".
  1. Assign missed IVR calls to: Designate a specific user or team member (e.g., "Add user") to assign unhandled IVR calls.
  2. Log internal calls: Toggle switch to automatically log internal team calls within Flatchr.
  3. Include Ringover summaries in call logs: Toggle switch to attach Ringover call summaries to call logs.
  4. Include scenario name in call logs (for incoming IVR calls): Toggle switch to append the specific IVR scenario name to incoming call logs.
  5. Logs display language: Select the language used to display call log details (e.g., "fr").
  6. Custom URL: Input field to specify a custom domain or API endpoint URL (e.g., [https://api.demo.flatchr](https://api.demo.flatchr).).
  7. Log WhatsApp messages: Toggle switch to automatically save WhatsApp chat messages into Flatchr.
  8. Sync contacts (v4): Toggle switch to enable general contact synchronization with Flatchr.
  9. Sync contacts on a call-by-call basis: Toggle switch to trigger contact synchronization individually as each call occurs.


  1. Display contact's info during call and only store their info if call-by-call basis is activated: Toggle switch to show contact details on the dialer during calls while conditionally restricting data storage unless call-by-call sync is enabled.
  2. Mapped fields: Select Flatchr fields to display in the dialer's Info section via "Add or edit fields".

4. Place calls with Ringover Dialer and view candidate notes

Use the browser extension to place outbound calls and verify that activities are logged to candidate records.

  1. Install the Ringover Click-to-Call extension in your browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox).
  2. Open any candidate application in Flatchr.
  3. Click on the candidate's highlighted phone number to initiate the call via Ringover.
  4. Check the Notes section on the candidate record to review the logged call, recording link, transcription link, and AI summary.
