With Ringover Talk, you can ensure you never miss a customer call, even when you’re away from your computer. By enabling call diversion, incoming calls to your business number will ring directly on your personal mobile phone.
You can configure this from two places:
1. From your Dashboard (talk.ringover.com)
Go to your Settings at talk.ringover.com/settings.
Locate the section: "Redirect to my cell phone."
Enter your mobile phone number in the field provided.
Toggle the switch to Active.
2. From the Ringover Talk Mobile App
Open the app and tap the Profile icon (on the far right).
Tap on Calling Modes.
Select Cellular Network.
-
Enter your mobile number.
Note: This mode also allows you to make outgoing calls using your cellular minutes while still displaying your Ringover business number to the recipient.
How it Works
When a customer calls your Ringover Talk number and you are not available on your computer:
The call is instantly diverted to your cell phone number.
You will see the incoming call from your Ringover number on your phone (you will recognize it as a business call).
You can then choose to accept or reject the call.
Call Confirmation (Preventing Personal Voicemail)
To prevent your business callers from reaching your personal mobile voicemail, Ringover Talk uses a confirmation system.
When you answer a diverted call on your mobile, you will hear an automated message:
"Ringover call; to pick up, press 1."
Simply press 1 on your keypad to connect the call. If you don't press 1, the call will be routed back to your Ringover Talk professional voicemail instead.
