Whether you are working from your browser or on the move with your mobile phone, Ringover Talk allows you to seamlessly transfer a live call to another team member.
1. Transferring from your computer
While you are in an active conversation on talk.ringover.com, follow these steps:
Click "Transfer": Look for the transfer button on your active call screen.
Select a Colleague: A list of your team members will appear. You will see who is currently available or busy.
Connect: Click on the name of the user you wish to receive the call. The call will be immediately routed to them.
2. Transferring from your mobile phone
The method depends on the Calling Mode you have selected in your app settings:
A. If using "VoIP" Mode (Data/Wi-Fi)
In this mode, the app works just like the computer version.
While on the call, you will see an "Ongoing Call" interface.
Simply tap the Transfer icon on your screen.
Choose a team member from the list to send the call to them.
B. If using "Cellular Network" Mode
Since this mode uses your phone’s traditional calling interface rather than the app's data interface, you must use your keypad to trigger the transfer:
During the call, open your phone's keypad and press the star key (*).
Enter the User ID number of the colleague (e.g.,
*3).The call will then be transferred to that user.
Where to find User IDs: You can view the ID number assigned to each team member (1, 2, 3, etc.) by visiting talk.ringover.com/users.
