To manage your greetings, go to Phone Settings at talk.ringover.com/ivrsettings. You can customize three types of messages:
Welcome Greeting: Played when a customer first calls.
Waiting Music: Played while the customer is being connected to your team.
Voicemail/Closed Message: Played when you are unavailable or the office is closed.
For each message, you have 3 options.
Option 1: Using the Online Studio (Text-to-Speech)
Our online studio allows you to create professional announcements with background music instantly.
Click on "Edit" next to the greeting you want to change.
Select the option "Write it"
Type your text: Enter the message you want your callers to hear.
Select a Voice: Choose the language and the specific voice (male/female) that best fits your brand.
Add Background Music: Select a track from our library or upload your own.
Fine-tune: Adjust the voice speed and the balance between the voice and music volume.
Option 2: Uploading an MP3 File
If you have a message recorded by a professional voice artist or a specific brand track:
Click "Edit" and select the "Upload a file" tab.
Choose your MP3 file from your computer.
Once uploaded, this file will serve as your greeting.
Option 3: Recording Your Own Voice
For a more personal touch, you can record yourself directly:
Click "Edit" and select the "Record" tab.
Use your computer's microphone to record your message.
You can still add background music from our library after recording your voice.
For each option, make sure to validate your message and then save your settings: Your announcement is live immediately.
⚠️ Important: Music Rights and Royalties
If you choose to upload your own music or messages, please ensure that:
The music is royalty-free, or
You hold the necessary performance rights for the country where your Ringover Talk number is located.
