The advanced settings allow you to control how the AI agent responds during conversations, manage silences, and define maximum call durations. These settings help ensure smooth interactions and prevent calls from ending prematurely.

Advanced settings

Turn Timeout

• Time (in seconds) after the user's last word before the agent replies automatically.
• Select Unlimited to wait indefinitely for the user to speak.

Silence end call timeout

• Maximum duration of silence (in seconds) before the call ends automatically.
• Select Unlimited to prevent the call from ending due to silence.

Max conversation duration

• Maximum duration of the call.
• Between 60 seconds and 1 hour.

Max conversation duration

How fast the agent takes its turn when the caller pauses.

• Patient: waits until they finish (best for phone).
• Normal: balanced.
• Eager: replies as early as possible, may cut in.

Keywords

• Comma-separated words that the system will recognize with higher accuracy.
• Helps the AI detect important terms or triggers more reliably.

You can run simulations to test your configurations. However, not all features will function during a simulation, such as call transfers. Simulations are primarily for testing speech, timeouts, and keyword recognition.

🎉 By properly configuring these settings, you can control the AI agent’s response timing, manage call duration and silence behavior, and improve recognition of critical keywords.
