Jarvi is an ATS designed to centralize and simplify candidate tracking and recruitment activities. The Ringover + Jarvi integration allows your teams to access their communications directly in Jarvi and quickly identify candidates or contacts during their interactions.
The Ringover + Jarvi integration allows you to:
- Make calls from Jarvi using the Ringover Chrome extension (click-to-call).
- Automatically identify a Jarvi candidate or contact by their phone number during an incoming or outgoing call.
- Access the corresponding Jarvi record directly from the Ringover Dialer.
- Log incoming, outgoing, and missed calls in the correct Jarvi contact’s history.
- Synchronize SMS and WhatsApp conversations and Empower Meet meetings supported by the integration.
- Enhance activities with notes, tags, the recording, transcript, summary, and next steps when available.
- Send SMS messages from Jarvi using a compatible Ringover mobile number.
Prerequisites
Before starting the integration, make sure that the following requirements are met:
- Ringover account: you must have a Business or Advanced plan with administrator access to your Ringover Dashboard.
- Jarvi account: you must have administrator access to the Jarvi workspace you want to connect.
- Jarvi API key: you must have a valid Jarvi API key for this workspace.
I. Generate your API key in Jarvi
To obtain the API key:
- Go to "Preferences".
- Select "Advanced features".
- Click the "API" tab.
- Enable the feature.
- Click "Generate new keys".
- A "pop-up" window will open. Enter a name for your API key.
II. Enable the integration from Ringover
- Log in to your Ringover Dashboard.
- Go to Integrations.
- Search for Jarvi and click the icon that appears.
- Copy and paste your Jarvi API key.
- Click Activate.
Ringover verifies the API key and automatically retrieves the workspace and the list of Jarvi users. If the key is invalid or the connection cannot be established, an error message appears.
III. Configure your settings
From the Integrations page, click Jarvi to open the configuration panel.
1. Complete your user mapping
Click the + Manage users button.
Match each Jarvi user with the corresponding Ringover user and, when requested, with their assigned Ringover number. This mapping ensures that calls, messages, and SMS actions are logged under the correct team member.
If a user is added, deleted, or modified, update the mapping and save it. When reconnecting, check the suggested matches again.
2. Enable contact search and synchronization
To make sure your contacts are synchronized, Ringover offers two options:
- Global synchronization (all your contacts are synchronized in Ringover).
- Call-by-call synchronization (contacts are synchronized in Ringover when they call you or when you call them).
You can choose to search for and display the contact. In this case, the information will only be stored on the Ringover side if call-by-call synchronization is enabled:
Important: if no contact matches the number, Ringover does not automatically create a contact in Jarvi. This rule protects the privacy of the data stored in the ATS.
3. Enable summaries, transcripts, and post-call data
- In the Ringover Dashboard user settings, enable call recording if you want to attach the data that depends on it.
- In the Jarvi integration settings, enable adding summaries to call logs when the option is available.
Depending on the data available for the call, the Jarvi activity can be enhanced with notes, tags, the recording, transcript, summary, and next steps.
4. Send SMS messages from Jarvi
Once users are correctly matched, Jarvi can display eligible Ringover mobile numbers and allow an SMS message to be sent from the ATS. Select the Ringover number to use, enter your message, then confirm sending it from Jarvi.
Sending depends on the user’s permissions, their mapping, and the SMS compatibility of the selected Ringover number.
Check the connection
The Ringover Dashboard indicates whether the Jarvi integration is connected or disconnected. If reconnection is required, open the integration, enter a valid Jarvi API key, then check the user mapping before saving.
You can then make a test call and check that the contact is correctly identified and that the activity appears in their Jarvi record with the expected information.
You are now ready to use Ringover with Jarvi! Install the Ringover click-to-call extension to call directly from Jarvi.
Congratulations. Your Ringover integration with Jarvi is now complete! 🎉
