The messaging tools in Ringover allow you to communicate effectively with clients via SMS and collaborate seamlessly with your team. In this guide, you’ll learn how to send, schedule, and manage your messages directly from your account.
Using messaging tools
1. Send a new SMS message
To send text messages, ensure you have a mobile number on your list and are on a business or advanced plan.
- Go to the messaging section.
- Click on new SMS.
- Enter the recipient's number or search for their first and last name if they are already in your contacts.
- Write your message.
2. Schedule and manage your SMS
You can easily prepare messages in advance and access additional organizational options.
- Click the button on the right to access scheduled sending options
- Select a period.
- Define the time that the message will be sent.
Once a message is scheduled, you can still edit the text or cancel the send.
You’ll always have access to your conversation history.
Click on the three dots in your conversation history to see additional SMS options such as :
- Add to favorite
- Call
- Block number
- Export to CSV
- Export to TXT

- Report message
- Archive
3. Send One-Way SMS Notifications
You can send one-way texts to share important information about your service or product without starting a two-way conversation.
- To do this, your administrator must request the creation of a brand name.
- Messages will be sent directly from your company's brand name rather than a standard mobile number, meaning the recipient will not be able to reply.
4. Use internal team messaging
Ringover includes a built-in internal chat system to help you easily communicate with your colleagues.
- Go to the the chat or the vertical bar on the left to start a new conversation.
- Click on "New"
- Name your group and add other users.
- Filter your messages by unread or favorites to find them more easily.
