Creating a voice announcement in MP3 with your Ringover voice system allows you to personalize the calling experience for your customers. A professional voice announcement enhances your company’s image, provides important information in a clear and effective way, and ensures that callers receive the right message before being connected.
Add a welcome message to your IVR
1. Upload a custom MP3 file for your phone system announcement (note that .wav files are not supported)
2. Create an announcement with a synthesized voice and background music
3. Create an announcement with your own voice.
1. With an MP3 File
Here’s how to upload your own MP3 file:
Go to your IVR and click “Edit”.
Then click “Configure”.
Click “Create your message”.
Disable “Add text”.
Then click here to upload your MP3 file.
In “Your music”, select the file you uploaded.
👉 Your announcement must not exceed 2 min 10 sec
👉 Maximum 15 MB per file
Click on “Listen to the announcement” to confirm your selection
2. With a synthesized voice
Go to your voice systems and click “Edit”.
Then click “Configure” and “Create your announcement”.
Make sure to enable “Add text” and write your message.
Choose the voice.
Add background music (optional). You can disable it if you wish.
Set the playback time, repetition duration, etc.
3. With your own voice
Go to your voice systems and click “Edit”.
Then click “Configure” and “Create your announcement”.
Make sure to enable “Add text” and record yourself.
Choose the voice.
Add background music (optional). You can disable it if you wish.
